The Company

Cornwall Vacuum Services was established in 1991 by Kevin and Mandy Cocks, originally operating as a franchise focused on the repair of domestic vacuum cleaners.


As the business developed, it quickly became clear that the commercial sector offered greater potential, and the company evolved to specialise in professional floor cleaning equipment.


From these small beginnings, the business has grown steadily, now employing a dedicated team and operating from its own purpose-built premises since 2010.


Today, Cornwall Vacuum Services supports businesses across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset, delivering reliable, expert solutions for commercial and industrial cleaning equipment.


A New Chapter in 2026


In April 2026, the business entered an exciting new chapter as long-standing team members Peter Allen and Daniel Ashton-Smith completed an owner buyout, taking over the leadership of the company.



Having both played key roles in the growth and day-to-day operations of Cornwall Vacuum Services, Peter and Daniel bring continuity, experience, and a fresh perspective. Their focus is on maintaining the trusted service our customers rely on, while continuing to develop and modernise the business for the future.

Cornwall Vacuum Services specialises in the supply, servicing, and repair of all types of floor cleaning equipment, ranging from small tub vacuum cleaners to large industrial scrubber dryers, sweepers, steam machines, and pressure washers.
