We Are Actively Recruiting a New

SERVICE ENGINEER

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team at CVS. This role is perfect for a proactive individual with strong technical abilities and excellent communication skills.


As a Service Engineer, you’ll be the face of CVS in the field, delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. You’ll work across Devon and Cornwall visiting customer sites servicing and repairing a wide range of cleaning equipment, the role is very varied as no two days are the same. The equipment you will work on ranges from small mains operated vacuums to large Ride-on Battery Scrubber Driers and Sweepers, you will also be trained to look after some pressure washers. Our website will give you a good overview of the types of equipment we supply and an overview of CVS.


Qualifications & Skills

✔️ Experience as a Service Engineer or Motor vehicle technician or similar role (preferred).
✔️ Strong technical knowledge of
mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
✔️ Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Word).
✔️
Excellent problem-solving & critical-thinking skills under pressure.
✔️
Strong communication skills for customer & team interactions.
✔️ Ability to
work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
✔️
Full UK driving licence (required)


Key Responsibilities

🔧 Conduct Servicing and Repairs to Cleaning Equipment on customer sites.
🔍 On some occasions you will be in our workshop carrying out Larger repairs and Refurbishments.
🛠️
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
📊 Maintain
accurate records of service visits, repairs, van stock, and customer interactions.
🤝 Collaborate with the engineering team to
give feedback on product performance.
⚠️ Ensure
compliance with health & safety regulations.
📢 Maintain
clear communication with both customers and the service team.

💰 Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per year (DOE)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00

🏖️ 33 days Holiday per Year (including Bank Holidays)
